| Dionne Blaesing entered the
law profession as a second career. For two decades prior to entering law school, she
managed, developed and worked in veterinary hospitals private and public. In her former
career, she obtained hands on knowledge of the needs and issues of small business and
professional offices as well as the knowledge she uses to practice in her niche as an
animal law attorney. Dionne attended Barnard College of
Columbia University in New York City but obtained her B.A. cum laude in Economics from the
University of South Florida and her Juris Doctorate with Honors from the University of
Florida in Gainesville in 1994.
Before practicing law, Dionne was emergency technician at the Angell
Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, served for many years as Chief of Nursing for Boston
Zoological Society/MDC Zoo system and managed a local veterinary hospital for ten years.
Her memberships include the Florida Bar, Business/probate Section of
the Florida Bar Association, West Pasco Bar Association, the Allgood-Altman Inns of Court,
Florida Association of Women Lawyers, Calusa Business and Womens Association, the
Cairn Terrier Club of America. Additionally Dionne is a board member and second vice
president of the West Pasco S.P.C.A.. |

Debora A. Diaz owns a home
in New Port Richey, and has been a resident of New Port Richey since December of 1994.
Debora moved to Florida after she graduated from law school. Debora
received a B.S. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University in 1985 while
working full-time. She also received a Graduate Certificate in Management Studies from
Cornell University and received her Juris Doctorate from Syracuse University College of
Law in 1994. Graduate of Leadership Pasco Class of 1997.
Before practicing law Debora worked for the University of Rochester
for 13 years and has an extensive background in human resource issues. When she resigned
from the University in 1991 to attend law school, Debora was a Personnel Representative
for Employment and Labor Relations dealing with hiring, promotion, training and
termination issues.
Memberships include the Florida Bar, the American Bar Association,
the Labor and Employment Law Sections of the Florida Bar and the American Bar Association,
Family Law section of the Florida Bar Association, the Academy of Florida Trials Lawyers,
the Allgood-Altman Inns of Court, Florida Association of Women Lawyers, West Pasco Bar
Association, Calusa Business and Professional Womens Association and Tri-County
Citizens Against Discrimination.
Additionally Debora serves on the Advisory Council of the Salvation
Army Domestic Violence Center, Pasco County Domestic Violence Task Force and the Judiciary
Committee and serves on the Board of Leadership Pasco. |
